Our client is a weight management company that helps their patients on their weight loss journey by providing an educational program. This program lasts over 6 months covering the main concepts of obesity management and is adaptive based on user inputs.

The problem

While the client offers a comprehensive six-month educational program on obesity management, they face challenges in delivering personalized and adaptive content to their patients. The existing program lacks flexibility and does not fully engage patients based on their individual needs or where they are in their medication journey. Additionally, there is a need for a system that allows providers to monitor patient engagement, track progress through the modules, and review historical conversations to address any issues effectively.

The solution

The client wants to have a program of messaging over a period of 6 months that can help cover the main concepts of obesity management. The program starts with familiar and desired and then slowly introduces the more challenging concepts of behavioral lifestyle support. The program does not have to be rigid and structured, but can be adaptive based on key inputs of what the patient is requesting or where they are in the medication journey.

The program consists of several modules that the agent proactively introduces every week. The user can navigate through these modules at a faster pace if they want. On each module, the agent introduces several topics, and then chats about them with the user, based on a complete knowledge base provided by the client.

Lastly, the provider has a dashboard to check patients’ engagement overall, and each patient’s completed modules. Our platform also enables clients to see historical conversations to clarify any issue.
